Wilma Ioerger, 90, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013, at Edgewood Vista, Belgrade, Montana. Funeral services for Wilma Ioerger will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 313 Lee Lane, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, September 6th at the Linn's Funeral Home 5121 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Burial will be at the Buckeye Cemetery, Hardin County, Iowa. The Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Wilma June Risse was born April 3, 1923, at her parent's farm home in Hardin County, Iowa, the daughter of Howard Myron and Emma Martha [Rieks] Risse. She graduated from the Iowa Falls High School with the class of 1941. On January 29, 1944, Wilma was united in marriage to Vernon George Ioerger at her parent's home south of Iowa Falls, Iowa. To this union three children were born: James, Connie, and George. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband, first south of Buckeye, Iowa and then farmed south of Iowa Falls, Iowa. She was a member of the Buckeye Lutheran Church and transferred her membership to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls when the family moved to Iowa Falls.

Wilma Ioerger is survived by two children: Connie [David] Prantner of Austin, Minnesota, George [Joy] Ioerger of Alden, Iowa and White Sulphur Springs, Montana; three grandchildren: Derek [Emily] Prantner of Austin, Minnesota, Shannon Rae Prantner of Bettendorf, Iowa, Westhenry Ioerger of White Sulphur Springs, Montana; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Emma and Howard Risse; her husband: Vernon Ioerger; her son: James Ioerger; and a brother: Delmer Risse.
