Vernon Dale Caruth, 81, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away September 15, 2020 at Hansen Family Hospital, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Vernon ‘Dale’ was born June 19, 1939, in Alden, Iowa to Clifford and Ida (Riley) Caruth. He attended Alden schools in Alden, Iowa. He was enlisted into  the Navy December 16,1956 - July 17, 1962. On December 2, 1961 Dale was united in marriage to Sharon Ann Palmer, at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls, Iowa To this union six children were born: Dale,Tammy, Penny, Robin, Anita, and Tina. Dale worked at Farmland Foods for many years and later started Caruth Welding.Dale is survived by his wife: Sharon Caruth of Iowa Falls, Iowa; five children: Dale Caruth of Iowa Fall, Penny Caruth of Iowa Falls, Rob (Sherri) Caruth of Iowa Falls, Anita Alley of Mountainburg, Arkansas, and Tina Caruth of Mason City, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one on the way; two siblings: Beth Vieth of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Virgil Caruth of Branson, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale Caruth is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; Tammy Caruth: one granddaughter; Faith Caruth and three sisters; Myrna,Lillian, and Peggy, and three brothers; Merton, Calvin, and Glen.
