Terry "Tub" Groff, 65, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls. Funeral services for Terry "Tub" Groff will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1206 Cedar Street, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Ackley, Iowa. Terry Dean Groff was born July 15, 1947, at Ellsworth Hospital, Iowa Falls, the third child of Merle "Mike" and Marjorie Groff. He attended the Iowa Falls Community Schools. He was united in marriage to Carol Woodley and she preceded him in death. Tub worked for American Cyanamid Co. of Alden, Iowa for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially talking with people (be it a friend or stranger).

Tub Groff is survived by two step daughters: Lori and Lisa, and his brothers and sisters: Larry 'Butch' [Sharon] Groff of Cheboygan, Michigan, Gary [Sharon] Groff of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Sharon ][Jim] Kiroff of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Connie Allen of Ames, Iowa, and Sandi [Phillip] Thorson of Marshalltown, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mike and Marjorie Groff; and his wife Carol Groff.
