Susan Rae (Krubeck) Norte

Susan Rae Norte, 76, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at  her daughters home. A time of visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Linn’s Funeral Home Iowa Falls Chapel. With a private funeral service at a later date. Susan Rae Krubeck was born July 28, 1945, to Ray and Ruth Dea (Mowery) Krubeck in Chillicothe, Missouri. Sue attended Marshalltown Schools graduating with the class of 1963. Sue attended Ellsworth Community College and earned an Associate Degree in Nursing. Sue was united in marriage to John Paul Kent on February 15, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada. John passed away on December 27, 1985 then on August 28, 1993 she married Joseph L. Norte. Sue was the founder of United Friends Children’s Christmas party and served the free Christmas Day dinner that she cooked for many people over the years. Sue was a Hospice Nurse for many years until retirement in 2009. Sue belonged to the VFW Auxiliary #5724.

Susan is survived by her husband: Joe Norte of Ackley; daughter Susan Copp of Iowa Falls; one granddaughter: Jessica (Nick) Tjarks; one grandson: Christopher Copp; and 3 great-grandchildren: Kylah, Konnor, and Kenton;   two brothers Bruce Krubeck and Danny Krubeck.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents: Ray Krubeck and Dea Siesseger; her first husband: John Kent; two brothers Bruce Krubeck and Danny Krubeck.
