Sharon Ann Groff, 78, of Iowa Falls passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at her daughter’s home. Funeral services for Sharon Groff will be 10:30 am Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 323 Lee Lane, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am prior to services. Burial at St John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Hampton, Iowa directly following lunch. Sharon Ann Pedersen was born May 20, 1944, in Hampton, Iowa, to LeRoy Earl and Evadna Maude (Oleson) Pedersen. Sharon graduated Northwood-Kensett High School with the class of 1962. She then attended NIACC in Mason City and graduated with a nursing degree. On November 28, 1964, Sharon was united in marriage to Gary Groff Sr. at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. To this union two children were born: Carol and Gary Jr. Sharon worked at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls.

Sharon is survived by her husband: Gary of Iowa Falls; a daughter: Carol (Dave) Kruger of Jewell; a son Gary (Dawn) Groff Jr. of Iowa Falls; grandchildren: Ben (Olivia Logsdon) Arends, Jerad Arends, Annie Arends, Nicole Groff, Nathan Groff; Nephews Todd (Dana) Patterson, Danny (Peggy) Patterson; Tim Pedersen, Brian (Maleah) Pedersen; niece: Debbie (Mark) Wagner Stratmann; sisters in-law: Sharon (Jim) Kiroff; and Sandi (Phil) Thorson.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: LeRoy and Evadna Pedersen; a sister: Carol Patterson; a brother: Earl (Dar) Pedersen; grandson: Zachary Arends; in-laws Marjorie and Merle Groff; brothers-in-law: Larry Groff and Terry Groff; sister-in-law Connie Allen; nephew: Scott Patterson: and niece: Bridget True.
