Sharon Kay Garcia, 71, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, at her son, Bryan's home, in Paola, Kansas. A Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon K. Garcia will be 10:30 am Thursday, June 6, 2013, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 415 Main Street, Iowa Falls. A Rosary and Scripture service will be held at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the Linn's Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Ave. Iowa Falls. Iowa, followed by a time of visitation from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Sharon Kay Hall was born June 16, 1941, at her parent's home, the daughter of Bennie K. and Agnes Irene [Lura] Hall, in Story County, Iowa. She graduated from the Alden Community High School with the class of 1959. On May 1, 1959, Sharon was united in marriage to David A. Campbell at Ames, Iowa (the couple later divorced). She was united in marriage to Joe E. Garcia of November 26, 1983, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. Sharon worked for Irv Campbell's Sales and Service, Iowa Falls, Farmland Foods, Iowa Falls, Joe's Super Value, Iowa Falls, and the Hawkeye Valley Council on Aging at the Iowa Falls Nutrition Site. She was a member of St. Mark Parish, Iowa Falls, and the St. Mark Guild.

Sharon Garcia is survived by three sons: Dennis Garcia of Dubuque, Iowa, Bruce [Amy] Campbell of Norwalk, Iowa, Bryan [Kathy] Campbell of Paola, Kansas; eleven grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren; a brother: Merlyn [Julia] Hall of Buckeye, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bennie and Agnes Hall; her husband: Joe Garcia; and a daughter: Marilynne Garcia.
