Paul A Neubauer

Paul A. Neubauer, 98, of Southbend, Indiana, formerly of Iowa Falls, Iowa,  passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Creekside Village Care Center, Mishawaka, Indiana. A graveside service for Paul A. Neubauer will be held 10:00 am Monday June 7, 2021 at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls. The Linn’s Funeral Home of Iowa Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paul Arthur Neubauer was born March 15, 1922, the son of Paul Gustaf and Johanna (Buyers) Neubauer on his parents farm in Grant township, Franklin County, Iowa. He attended Iowa Falls Schools. He served in the US Merchant Maries during World War II. On February 2, 1947, he was married to Fern Oleta Eide at Rantool, Illinois: to this union four children were born: Jeffrey, Suzanne, Judy, and Nancy. Paul farmed most of his life although he did work at Farmland Foods for five years retiring in 1984. Paul believed in Jesus Christ as his savior and is now rejoicing in heaven.

Paul is survived by his wife: Fern Neubauer of Southbend, Indiana; two daughters Judy (Rodney) Windecker of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Nancy (David) Luppes of Southbend, Indiana: two sisters Louise Heller of Iowa Falls, Thelma Anderson of Iowa Falls: five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents: Paul G. and Hanna Neubauer; son Jeffrey Paul Neubauer: daughter Susanne Leigh Neubauer; three brothers: Harold Neubauer, Lawrence Neubauer, Leo Neubauer; seven sisters: Ethel Lister, Hazel Aldinger, Martha Hatch, Elnora.Paul, Clara Fraser-Miller, Hannah Andersen,, Ruth Pekarek as well as many extended family.
