Loren Dwaine Langford, 81, of Dubuque, Iowa and formerly of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away on August 25, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Linn’s Funeral Chapel in Iowa Falls with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at Chariton Cemetery 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024. Loren Dwaine Langford was born October 29, 1942 in Corydon, Iowa to Virgil Adran and Vera Lucille (Coffey) Langford. He attended Corydon Schools graduating with the class of 1961. He attended the University of Iowa from 1961-1965. He attended graduate school at the University of Nebraska earning a Master in Business Education in 1975. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Mae Clothier on September 5, 1964 at the Christian Church in Chariton, Iowa. To this union two children were born, Marilyn and Mark. Loren taught at Falls City, Nebraska; Ellsworth College; and upper level class through Buena Vista University from 1997-2010. He also owned and operated Pipeline Placement in Iowa Falls. Loren attended the First Church of God in Iowa Falls.

Loren is survived by his children: Marilyn (Ron) Snyder of Dubuque, Iowa; Mark (Jody) Langford of St. John, Indiana. Two grandchildren: Jeremiah and Savannah Snyder

He was preceded in death by his parents: Virgil and Vera Langford; and his wife: Evelyn Langford.
