Kasey Jo Christensen Obituary

Kasey Jo Christensen, the youngest son of Lowell Christensen Jr. and Peggy Severin Christensen, entered this life in Iowa Falls, Iowa on July 2, 1980. Kasey joined his older brothers Kelly and Kory Christensen. Kasey went to heaven on December 18, 2014, after suffering a cardiac arrest brought on by a severe asthma attack. Kasey was 34 years old. Services were held for Kasey on December 21, 2014 at a church in Coupeville, Washington.

Kasey was the blondest of the three brothers, with those big round brown eyes. Kasey was never far from his mother's arms being her youngest son. Kasey had a little smirk and smile to get just what he wanted. Kasey was well traveled as he and his family relocated to different states which included Washington, Idaho, Ohio and California.

Kasey graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1999, on Whidbey Island, Washington. Kasey played on the high school football team, having received all-conference titles in wide receiver and state titles in punt returns. He attend RCC college in Riverside, California.

Kasey had a passion for motorcycles. He was an instructor/coach for the Honda Rider Education Center in Colton, California. He raced dirt bikes in the deserts of California and Mexico along with his brother, Kelly. They both hold several championships in the desert racing industry. Kasey continued on with his love for motorcycles and became a mechanic, working for HillTop Service Station in Oak Harbor, Washington.

Kasey, along with Christina, knew they had something special in their daughter Libbie. Kasey cherished his daughter and the families are thankful that they have little Libbie to carry on Kasey through her life.

Kasey leaves behind his 2 year old daughter Libbie, in Oak Harbor, Washington, his parents Peggy and Lowell Jr., in Palm Springs, California, brothers Kelly and his family in North Bend, Washington, Kory and his family in Washington, Missouri, and paternal grandfather Lowell Christensen Sr. in Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Kasey is proceeded in death by grandparents William and Janet Severin, of Nevada, Iowa and grandmother Opal Christensen, of Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Kasey's family is asking that memorials be directed to the family who have established a college savings fund for Libbie Jade Christensen. Contributions should be made out to Kelly Christensen, and sent to 1521 Washington Ave, Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126.

The death of Kasey has brought great sorrow to his family. We take solace in knowing that in his death; Kasey was able to give the gift of life through organ donation.
