Karen Mae Banner, 81, of Alden, Iowa passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Hansen Family Hospital, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Private family services for Karen Banner were Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Sherman Cemetery, South of Buckeye. Karen Mae Fry was born September 6, 1940, in Iowa Falls to Alvin Gale and Sarah Henrietta (Wirds) Fry. Karen attended Iowa Falls High School.

Karen was married to Larry Dean Banner on July 26, 1959. To this union Four daughters were born; Lisa, Christine, Michelle, and Sherri. Karen was a housewife.

Karen is survived by her husband: Larry Banner of Alden; three daughters: Christine (Kevin) Reiher of Lorimor; Michelle Bessman of Alden; Sherri (Matt) Hoversten of Popejoy; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister: Sharron (Bennie) Thomason of Iowa Falls.

Karen is preceded in death by: her parents; infant sister: Kay Fry; one brother: Larry Fry;  and daughter: Lisa Banner.
