Jon David Larson, 74, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020, at the Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private family services are being held. He will be buried at the Northlawn Cemetery in Iowa Falls. The Linn’s Funeral Home Iowa Falls Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Jon Larson was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Lavere “Ole” Henry and Carol Eileen [Ward] Larson on July 28, 1946. Jon graduated from the Iowa Falls High School with the class of 1964. Jon was united in marriage to Linda Ann Hartema on September 7, 1969, and to this union two children were born: Matthew and David. Jon worked for the City of Iowa Falls Water Department for over twenty years. He was last employed by Iowa Select in Iowa Falls. He was a member of the Open Bible Church in Iowa Falls. Jon was an avid trap shooter, hunter, and loved to fish. He also enjoyed bow hunting and watching trains.
Jon is survived by his wife Linda Larson of Iowa Falls, Iowa; a son David (Desiray) Larson of Iowa Falls; granddaughter: Abby Larson of Iowa Falls; one sister: Mary Jo Means of Warner Robins, Georgia; and a niece: Chelsea.
Jon David Larson was preceded in death by his parents L.H. “Ole” and Carol Larson, in-laws: Ed and Evelyn Hartema and Neta Hartema; and a son: Matthew Larson.
