Jerry Dean Clark

Jerry Dean Clark, 81 of Browning, Missouri passed away Monday, August 30, 2021, at his home in Browning, Missouri. Funeral Services for Jerry Clark are 12:00 pm Saturday, September 18, 2021, with graveside service to follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. The Linn’s Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Jerry was born February 2,1940 in Iowa City, IA to Merna Lois (Hayden) and Lee Edwards Clark.  On June 13,1960 he married the love of his life Barbara Frances (Nuebel) Clark in Crane, TX.  In their marriage they had four sons: Patrick, Mitchell, Lonny (Lisa) and Kelly Clark and one daughter: Teresa Bivens.  At the age of 19 Jerry’s little brother, David Lewis Clark came to live with them and tagged along everywhere Jerry went.

He worked for John Deere Local 434 until he retired in 1988 and started his true passion of farming.  Jerry loved hunting, being a grandpa, and telling jokes.  Jerry also loved traveling with his wife Barb going to Nashville, Chicago, and even taking a trip in her honor to the Kentucky Derby.   He has left an impression on many, was loved by lots, and missed by all.

Jerry is survived by three sons: Patrick, Mitchell and Kelly Clark; one daughter: Teresa Bivens; one daughter-in-law: Lisa Clark; one brother: Lynn Clark; three sisters: Darlene Breeze, Nacita (Fred) Jackson and Melody (Kerry) Holland; eight grandchildren: Jenna (Justin) Harding, Sara (Ian) Olmstead, Patricia (Steven) Gladbach, Becky Hicks, Kendra Bivens, Jacob (Jamie) Bivens, Samantha Bivens, and Erica Clark; eleven great-grandchildren: Victoria Harding, Gabriel Fisher, Vivianna Harding, Baylee Dawkins, Ethan Stanphill, Justin Jr. Harding, Lily Bivens, Charleigh Gladbach, Maddison Bivens, Montana Bivens, and Christian Gladbach.

Proceeded in death are his parents: Merna and Lee Clark; his wife Barbara Clark; son Lonny Clark; his brother and buddy David Clark, as well as three other brothers: William “Bill” Clark, Marle Clark, and Timothy Clark; and three sisters: Sharwin Zimmerman, Norma Baker, and Avon Clark.
