James "Jimmy" Filbrandt, 82, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls. funeral services for Jimmy Filbrandt will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 313 Lee Lane, Iowa Fall, with Pastor Paul Beisel officiating. Burial will be at the Berlin Jackson Township Cemetery, Owasa, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Linn's Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls is in charge of the arrangements.

Jimmy Lee Filbrandt was born July 29, 1930 at Ackley, Iowa, the son of Otto Emil and Edith Jessie [Ward] Filbrandt. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls. Jimmy worked for Access Inc. for many years at Hampton, Iowa. Jimmy is survived by one sister: Audrey C. Filbrandt of 834 Oak Court, Osceola, Wisconsin 54020.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Otto and Edsith Filbrandt; and one brother: Douglas W. Filbrandt.
