Gloria Davidson, 83, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at the Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Funeral services for Gloria Davidson will be 10:30 am Friday, August 30, 2013, at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1206 Cedar Street, Iowa Falls. A time of visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at Linn's Funeral Home 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls. Gloria Dale King was born August 22, 1930, at Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Merle Lisley and Ardith King. She graduated from the Memphis Tennessee Community Schools, and attended Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina for 2 years. On February 20, 1954, Gloria was united in marriage to Vervon Eugene Davidson at Memphis, Tennessee. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Iowa Falls and the American Legion Auxiliary of Hyman-Peavey # 188, Iowa Falls. Gloria worked as a secretary for the North Central Iowa Teachers Association and was a product demonstrator for HyVee Food Stores and WalMart.

Gloria Davidson is survived by her husband: Verv Davidson of Iowa Falls; two children: Cathi Davidson of Parkersburg, Iowa, Ralph Davidson of Ackley, Iowa; and two grandchildren: Kolt and Buck Ortiz of Eagle, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents: Merle and Ardith King; her brother and sister: Donald and Shirley.
