George Tillman Jackson, 73, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls. Funeral service for George Jackson will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church, 619 Main Street, Iowa Falls, Iowa, 50126. A time of visitation will begin one hour before service time at the church. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls, Iowa. The Linn’s Funeral Home,Iowa Falls Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements. George Tillman Jackson was born March 23, 1950, to George Richard and Eleanor (Whitman) Jackson in Eldora, Iowa. George attended the Wellsburg schools. He was a loyal employee of the Adams Brothers Furniture Store and Auction House for many years before retiring. He was a very dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church and was responsible for security and opening and locking the church for many years. He also was very good at selling raffle tickets around town for different events. George could be seen at many locations around town every day of the week, talking to many different people along his way.

George is survived by his siblings: Kenneth Jackson of Waterloo; Debra Jackson of Iowa Falls; Dennis Jackson of Ackley; Nancy (Darrell) Meyer of Alden; Cindy Mac Donald of Live Oak, Florida; half sister: Danielle Russell of Waterloo; step sister: Linda (Jim) Bahr of Iowa Falls; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; extended family: Darrell Adams; Linn (Joanne) Adams; Bret (Jane) Adams; Shawn (Judy) Adams; Michelle (Cory) Meints; Tyler (Shelley) Adams; and their children and grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his mother; sister: Susan Shoafstall; brother: Daniel Jackson; nephew: Travis Lundberg; extended family: YuKona Adams.
