Frelon Anne Mardick, 93, formerly of Iowa Falls, IA, passed away February 22, 2020 at Richmond Terrace Memory Care Facility, Bellevue, Nebraska.  Cremation rites were accorded.   Burial and service will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 18, 2020, at Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls, Iowa. The Linn’s Funeral Home Iowa Falls Chapel is assisting the family with local arrangements.

Frelon was born December 9, 1926, in Sabetha, Kansas.  Her childhood was was mainly in southeastern Colorado where the dust bowl occurred and was during the depression. She attended College in Greeley, Colorado and later at Ellsworth College in Iowa Falls. She and Keith O. Mardick were married 43 years, had three daughters and lived in Iowa Falls.  They had many friends and relatives there, and were active in the Methodist Church. At her husbands death, she moved to Colorado and lived there 20 years and was active in Kiwanis, Methodist Women’s Association, and The Police Auxiliary.  She traveled extensively including Russia, Israel, Mexico, Italy, Australia, New Zealand & Fiji.  She loved gardening, painting, creating hand built pottery, and was an excellent seamstress.  The last ten years of her life were in Nebraska near her daughter, Sue.
