Evelyn Mae Murra, 95, of Belmond, Iowa and formerly of Iowa Falls passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at her home. Funeral services for Evelyn Murra will be 1:30 pm Friday, January 7, 2022 at Linn’s Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa .with a time of visitation from 12:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to services. Evelyn Mae Willms was born January 10, 1926, in Franklin County, Iowa, to Henry and Sema (Karsjens) Willms. Evelyn attended country schools in Franklin County. On September 15, 1944 Evelyn was united in marriage to Clarence Murra at the First Baptist Church, Hampton, Iowa. To this union two daughters were born: Laurel and Connie. Evelyn worked at General Publishing & Binding in Iowa Falls. She was the matriarch of the family and would have a feast for the family every Sunday .If you showed up at her house at anytime she was sure to feed you something.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter: Connie (Steve) Chambers of Galt, Iowa; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchild; two sisters: LaVelle Richmann of Iowa Falls; Lavonne (Hermon) Off.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence Murra; a daughter: Laurel Greimann; sister: Chris; brother: Vernon.
