Doris J. Weddle Kinsinger Kurtz Ball, 97, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on March 29, 2024 at Scenic Manor. A Celebration of Life will be held for Doris Ball 11:00 am Saturday May 4, 2024 at the First Christian Church 221 Fischer Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Linn’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Doris June Weddle was born June 16, 1926 to John Harter and Faye Lillian (Beath) Weddle in Iowa Falls. She graduated from Iowa Falls High School class of 1944. She was a member of the First Christian Church since 2005, and worked for the NorthWestern Bell Telephone Company for 13 months before marrying Wayne L. Kinsinger. To this union two sons were born, John (Jack) Wayne and Roger Marlyn. They lived on a farm near Jewell, Iowa for ten years and one year at Dike, Iowa before moving back to Iowa Falls in 1958. Doris worked again for the NorthWestern Bell Telephone Company for a total of 16 years. In 1973 she married Allan D. Kurtz and they moved to Ava, Missouri. In 2001 she married David E. Ball. In 2004 she returned to Iowa Falls. Doris enjoyed her family and getting to see her grandchildren grow up. She attended Bible Study groups and Sunday School classes. Her hobbies were crocheting, hand and machine knitting, and reading. Doris is survived by her son: Roger (Judy) Kinsinger of Altoona, Iowa, her daughter-in-law: Patricia Kinsinger of Waterloo, Iowa, seven grandchildren: Tonya, Todd, and Tim Kinsinger, David Kinsinger, Diana McGilligan, Jeff Krupp, Jodi Douglas, twelve great-grandchildren, plus many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Allan Kurtz and David Ball, her son: John Kinsinger, and her brother Robert Weddle.
