Dennis Vieth, 78, of Iowa Falls, and formerly of Williams, Iowa, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012, at the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls. The family has scheduled a celebration of Life service for Dennis Vieth will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsburg, Iowa.

Dennis William Vieth was born September 9, 1934 in Eldora, Iowa, the son of Emil and Walburga [Werner] Vieth. He grew up in Dike, Iowa. He married Elizabeth Caruth on October 7, 1955. He farmed and later opened Vieth's Body Shop. He drove for Warren Trucking until he retired.
He attended the Missionary Alliance Church in Blairsburg, Iowa. He was a devout Christian, active in his church and devoted to the study of God's Word and service to his family until his health disabled him.
Dennis loved everybody he met. He called everyone his friend. He is survived by his six children: Jeff [Mary] Vieth, Michael Vieth, Kevin Vieth, Teri [Randy] Hartkopp, Jim Vieth, all of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Lori [Doug] Wiseman of Williams, Iowa. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and his siblings: John [Theresa] Vieth of Jesup, Iowa, Emily [Greg] Whittle of Altoona, Iowa, and Mary Groat of Bakersfield, California; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
