Claus Raymond "Junior" Miller, 87, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at his home in Iowa Falls. Cremation Rites have been accorded and a Memorial Service for Junior Miller will be 10:30 am Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Immanuel Memorial United Church of Christ, 212 West St, Alden, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, with a Moose Ceremony to follow, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Linn's Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Ave., Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Claus Raymond "Junior" Miller was born October 10, 1927 to Raymond Claus Miller and Lydia Pearl [Mitchell] Miller in Alden, Iowa. He attended the Popejoy, Iowa school system, graduating in 1947. On September 27, 1952 Claus Miller was united in marriage to Lois Marie White in Alden. To this union three children were born: Susan, Cheryl, and David. He was baptized at the Immanuel Memorial United Church of Christ in Alden, Iowa on December 10, 1989. For most of his life Junior was a carpenter, last working for King Knutson Construction in Iowa Falls. He worked for many companies throughout the years, but his work was always excellent. He was also a member of the Legion of the Moose #1331, while there he had the honor of becoming a Legionnaire, Governor, and Fellowship. During his life Junior was in the U.S. Army for a short time, which led to his longtime membership in the American Legion.

Claus Miller is survived by his children Susan McKinnis, of Davenport, Iowa; and David [Norma] Miller of Iowa Falls. His brothers and sisters: Evalena Mitterer of Lancaster, CA; Kenneth Miller of Webster City, Iowa; and Marge Brannick, of Winnebago, MN. He also leaves with us 4 grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. Claus was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Pearl; wife Lois Miller; daughter Cheryl VanAlphen; and his sisters and brothers: Eunice Miller, Nila Joanne Miller, Coleen Hill, Donald Miller, and Ladonna Bessman-Rameriz.
