Charles "Chuck" Bernard Dixon, 80, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa. Funeral services for Chuck Dixon will be 11:00 am Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at The Meeting Room, 3020 River Oaks Road, Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. A time of visitation will be one hour prior from 10:00 until 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 20 also at The Meeting Room. Charles "Chuck" Bernard Dixon was born February 3, 1936 to Vernon and Kathryn Dixon in Dennison, Iowa. Chuck proudly served our country in the Army from 1955 to 1957. He worked as a carpenter before spending most of his career in production at Electrolux in Webster City, Iowa. Chuck was a member of the Meeting Room here in Iowa Falls for over 25 years. His hobbies included woodworking, flowers, gardening, John Deere tractors, and reading his Bible with daily devotion.

Those left to cherish Charles "Chuck" Bernard Dixon are his children: Toni (Jim) Olson of Waukee, Iowa, Juli (Randy) Meierotto of Davenport, Iowa, Rick (Linda) Dixon of Knob Noster, Missouri, Bobi (Pat) Buchan of Omaha, Nebraska, Charlie (Sandra) Dixon of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Jason Dixon of Carthage, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; three siblings: Lila Jensen of Hubbard, Iowa, Marvin Dixon of Dansville, New York, and Richard (Nancy) Dixon of Prescott, Arizona. Charles "Chuck" Bernard Dixon was preceded in death by his parents: Vernon and Kathryn Dixon; and one sister: Lavern Randolph.
