Bruce Michael Bell, 61, of Iowa Falls passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2014 with his mother at his side. He had been a resident at the Hampton Rehabilitation Center for the past five months. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 16th at 10:30 am at Linn's Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. A time of visitation will be Tuesday, July 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm also at Linn's Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Gladys Bell, 410 Talbot St. Apt. 101, Iowa Falls, IA 50126.

Bruce was born December 29, 1952 in Iowa Falls. Bruce was widely known about town for his musical and painting abilities. He loved spending time with his music, fishing, and game playing. One of his other passions was chess and he spent many hours at the library playing on line.

Bruce was a member of the first musical group at the Saturday night services at the First United Methodist Church. His musical skill provided him many opportunities to play and perform all over the country - including various groups with his Dad and Brother, including the ever popular "Stack." Another favorite past time was fishing - He fished anywhere he could cast his line.

Bruce was survived by his mother Gladys Bell of Iowa Falls, his daughter Joni [Kelsey] Thayer of Iowa Falls, and grandson Alexander of Iowa Falls, his brother Bob (Laura) Bell of Tarpon Springs, Florida, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Bruce was preceded in death by his father Marion [Mike] Bell, his sister Becky Bell, and an infant brother.
