Bernice Esther Wikert, 88, of Eldora, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Eldora Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Eldora. Bernice Wikert was buried at the Jackson Township (Berlin) Cemetery in Owasa, Iowa.
Bernice Esther Wikert was born December 23, 1926 in Butler County to Ben and Emma Kromminga, with 2 sisters and 2 brothers. During Bernice's life she was a wife, mother and homemaker. She also worked at the County Home Facility, a seasonal seed corn company in Eldora, and Dodger manufacturing in Eldora, from where she retired in 1989.
Bernice Wikert was survived by her 3 children: Edwin M. Wikert, Beverly E. Hazelwood and Russell L. Wikert; 2 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter; and 9 great-grandsons.
