Alfred Nels Hanson

Alfred Nels Hanson, 93, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls. There will be a public visitation September 26, 2020 from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the Linn’s Funeral Home Chapel; 1521 Washington Ave.; Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. There will be a private family service at a later date. Burial will be at the Northlawn Cemetery in Iowa Falls. Alfred Nels was born June 27, 1927, in Jewel, Iowa to Earl Dock and Ida (Anderson) Hanson. He attended the Jewell School District. On March 11, 1951, he was united in marriage to Kathryn Louise Rieks, and to this union one child was born: Gary Lee Hanson.

Alfred Nels is survived by a son: Gary [Linda] Hanson of Ackley, Iowa; two grandchildren: Jessica [Dan] Coffey and Kate [Cody] Flowers; and four great-grandchildren: Brayden, Olivia, Elizabeth, and Noah; a brother: Milferd (Pat) Hanson of Shellrock, Iowa.
