Adrian M. Nolte, 91, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013, at the Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls. Funeral services for Adrian M. Nolte will be 10:30 am Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 313 Lee Lane, Iowa Falls, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2013, at the Linn's Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls, with military honors provided by Hyman-Peavey American Legion Post #188, Iowa Falls. The Linn's Funeral Homes Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Adrian Merlin Nolte was born November 21, 1922, at State Center, Iowa, the son of Leland and Eleanora [Holly] Nolte. He graduated State Center High School and also graduated Watchmakers School in Kansas City. He served with the United States Navy during World War II. On April 15, 1945 Adrian was united in marriage to Bernice Dorthea Lee at Osage, Iowa. He was a self employed Jeweler owning NAIRDA in Iowa Falls, Iowa for many years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls, and the Hyman-Peavey American Legion Post #188, Iowa Falls.

Adrian Nolte is survived by his daughter: Lois Wesley of Urbandale, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents: Eleanora and Leland Nolte; his wife: Bernice Nolte; three brothers: Verland Nolte, Lloyd Nolte, Everett Nolte; and two sisters: Luverda Brown and Verneda
