Sheryl "Kay" Risius

Sheryl “Kay” Risius, 59, of Ogden, Iowa passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. A Memorial Service for Kay Risius will be 2:00 pm Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Linn’s Funeral Home Chapel; 1521 Washington Ave.; Iowa Falls, IA 50126. Sheryl Kay Risius was born January 25, 1958 to Allen Maynard and Lucille Hazel [Sonanstine] Risius in Hampton, Iowa. She graduated from Hubbard High School in 1977. Kay spent most of career working as a C.N.A for Heritage Care Center of Iowa falls and other care centers in Hubbard, Iowa. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings; specifically playing slots at casinos and going to stock car races. Kay also really loved Elvis Presley and going to Elvis impersonator shows.

Those left to cherish Sheryl Kay Risius are her siblings: Debbie [Don] Luther of Tucson, Arizona, and Ralph [Lana] Risius of Ogden, Iowa; and four nieces: Stacy Trushcheff of Ogden, Tiffanie Gardener of Tucson, Tara Bohrer of Tucson, and Amanda Risius of Boone, Iowa. Sheryl Kay Risius was preceded in death by  her parents: Allen and Lucille Risius, and two brothers in infancy.
