Ruth Anna Hoing, 91 of Alden, Iowa passed away May 13, 2019 at the Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls, Iowa. The family will not be having public services for Ruth Hoing. Ruth Anna Ahlberg was born July 14, 1927 to Amer and Marie [Timmerman] Ahlberg in Hampton, Iowa. She was raised and attended schools in Sheffiled, Iowa until the eighth [8th] grade. On May 19, 1954 she was married to Clyde William Hoing, and to this union two children were born: Doug and Robert. During most of her life she worked as a laborer in both an egg factory, and the brick and tile place on the east side of Iowa Falls, Iowa. She was also a housewife and mother to her two children. One of her favorite pastimes was to go to the casino, enjoying that mostly later on in life.

Ruth Ann Hoing is survived by her two sons: Robert Hoing of Alden, Iowa and Doug [Kristie Folk] Hoing of Alden and a step grandchild: Dustin Folk of Popejoy, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents: Amer and Marie Ahlberg; her husband: Clyde Hoing; two sisters: Mildred Edwards and Virginia Nelson; and two brothers: James Ahlberg and Dutch Ahlberg.
