Betty Lou Warren, 83, of Waterloo, Iowa, previously of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Friendship Village in Waterloo. A Memorial Service for Betty Lou Warren will be 10:30 am Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Cottage Community Church; 20082 Co. Hwy D41 Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. A time of visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Linn’s Funeral Home Chapel; 1521 Washington Ave.; Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. Memorials may be directed to: Betty Warren Memorial; C/O Linn’s Funeral Home; 1521 Washington Ave.; Iowa Falls, IA 50126. Betty Warren’s Memorial will be donated to Friendship Village of Waterloo and Cedar Valley Hospice. The Linn's Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is helping the family with the arrangements. 

 

Betty Lou Forbis was born October 24, 1933 to A. K. Forbis and Mamie [Axtell] Forbis in Iowa Falls, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Owasa High School in 1951. Betty then graduated from Marshalltown Nursing School in 1954 as a registered nurse. She was united in marriage to Hollis George Warren on September 15, 1958 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Iowa Falls. To this union five children were born: Nancy, Michael, Paula, Jeanne, and Jim. Betty enjoyed most of her life being a homemaker for her family. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ackley, Iowa.

 

Betty Warren is survived by her children: Nancy Aldrich of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Michael Warren of Marshalltown, Iowa, Paula Beuhrer of Cedar Falls, Jeanne Warren of Des Moines, Iowa, and Jim Warren of Indianola, Iowa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Betty Warren was preceded in death by her parents: A. K. and Mamie Forbis; her loving husband: Hollis George Warren; and her brother: Bob Forbis.
