Allen Dale Reyna

     Allen Dale Reyna, 54, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home in Iowa Falls. Funeral services for Allen Reyna will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the First Christian Church; 221 Fischer Ave.; Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. Visitation for Allen Reyna will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday July 17, 2019 at the Linn’s Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Burial will be held at a later date.      Allen Dale Reyna was born on January 3, 1965 to Mike and Carol Ann [Iehl] Reyna in Belmond, Iowa. He went to grade school in Iowa Falls, and attended the Clarion and Iowa Falls Community School District for high school. Allen Dale Reyna and Apryl Lynn Kent were united in marriage and to this union four children were born: Jessie, James, Jennie, and Jasmine. He worked most of his life at Iowa Prestressed Concrete [IPC] making bridge beams. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Iowa Falls. His hobbies included fishing and poker, along with coaching his kids in any sport. One of the things he loved to do was to take one individual kid out to Hy-Vee in the morning for breakfast, to have one-on-one time with them on Saturday morning. In high school, he was a wrestler, and later a boxer. This made him a fighter through out his whole life, until the very end. Every night to his kids, there was a kiss on the forehead followed by:

“Good night, I love you… Jesus and God love you… Say your prayers…”

     Allen Dale Reyna is survived by his wife: Apryl Kent of Iowa Falls, Iowa; four children: Jessie Kent of Iowa Falls, James [Mindy Choung] Kent of Brooklyn, New York, Jennie [Jesus] Montes of Ackley, Iowa, and Jasmine [Jose Jr.] Garza of Iowa Falls; two grandchildren: Isaiah and Jesus IV; his mother: Carol Reyna of Chesterton, Indiana; five brothers and sisters: Tina Case of Chesterton, Indiana, Jodi Broadbent of Tucson, Arizona, Mike Reyna III of Dows, Iowa, John Reyna of Kansas City, Missouri, and Chad Reyna of Norwalk, Iowa. Allen Reyna is preceded in death by his father: Mike Reyna, his step-mother: Darlene Reyna, and his father-in-law: George Kent.
