Kenneth Robert Allbee Jr.

Kenneth Robert Allbee Jr., 72, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Hansen Family Hospital, Iowa Falls. A Memorial Service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the First Christian Church of Iowa Falls. Visitation will be held an hour ahead of time 12:30 - 1:30 pm Saturday August 27, 2016 also at the First Christian Church. Burial will be held at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls following the Memorial Service. The Linn's Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is helping the family with arrangements. 

Kenneth Robert Allbee Jr. was born July 13,1944 to Kenneth Sr. and Viva [Culberson] Allbee in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He attended Iowa Falls High School completing the 11th grade and later received his GED. Kenneth served in the U.S Army in Korea from 1962 to 1965. On March 24, 1979, Kenneth married Nancy Reynolds at the First Baptist Church in Iowa Falls. Kenneth worked collecting garbage for the city of Iowa Falls until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the American Legion in Iowa Falls for 40 years, as well as the Moose Lodge in Mason City, Iowa, and the North Iowa Road Riders. He enjoyed camping and motorcycle rides.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife: Nancy Allbee of Iowa Falls, Iowa, his two daughters: Ann Weiss of Iowa Falls and Tammy [James] McNamar of West Des Moines, Iowa; his two sons: Lynn Allbee and his significant other Kristin Newton of Iowa Falls, and John [Danielle] Schipper of Albert Lee, Minnesota; his sister: Caroline [Denny] Lind of Colfax, Iowa; his brother: Ben [Linda] Allbee of Meservey, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth Robert Allbee Jr. was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth Sr. and Viva Allbee.
