Kathleen Karen Kennedy was born October 25, 1953 to John Joseph and Dorothy Lorraine [Jelinski] Kennedy in Tigerton , Wisconsin. She attended Tigerton High School, graduating in 1971. After graduation she completed beauty school in Wisconsin. Kathleen then moved to Eldora to care for her Great Aunt Anna Minear and worked as a CNA at Eldora Nursing and Rehab. In 1979 she began working for the Dayco factory in Eldora where she was employed for nearly 10 years. Before her health declined she enjoyed volunteering in Mrs. Kastelein's Kindergarten room and being a Daisy and Brownie Girl Scout leader. Kathleen's greatest joys in life were being a mother, grandmother, and her cat "babies." There is no one word to describe Kathleen. She was a kind loving and sweet person with a spunky and stubborn personality. Kathleen tried to be a friend to everyone she met. She LOVED to talk and many can remember conversations with her over the years.

Those left to cherish Kathleen's memory are her daughter Angel Cynthia Lai Loni [David] Crosse of Iowa Falls; six grandchildren: Isiah, James, Kaela, Lance, Ryker and Starr of Iowa Falls; a sister Debby Kennedy of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; two nephews Matthew and Robert Rubin; and her friend Lloyd Schweppe of Eldora. She was preceded in death by her mother and father: John Joseph and Dorothy Lorraine Kennedy; and an infant brother Richard.
